NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ADOPTION OF FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 BUDGET CITY OF POST OAK BEND, TEXAS TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS IN THE CITY OF POST OAK BEND: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Post Oak Bend will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Post Oak Bend City Hall located at 1175 CR 278, to consider public input on the proposed FY 2023-2024 Budget. At the Public Hearing all interested persons shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard. All residents are encouraged to attend. This notice is given by order of the City Council of the City of Post Oak Bend.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS, THAT:The City of Post Oak Bend, Texas proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of the City of Post Oak Bend to include the following described territory, to-wit:Approximately 40.54 acres of real property situated within the R. Anthony Survey, Abstract No. 1 of Kaufman County, Texas, being all of a called 31-1/2-acre tract, described as First Tract and all of a called 2-acre tract, described as Second Tract to Dorothy Pearl Galvin, dated Aril 30, 2018 and recorded in Volume 5659, Page 408 of the Official Public Records of Kaufman County, Texas, and generally located along County Road 280, approximately southeast of County Road 281. A complete metes and bounds description of the property is available for public inspection at the City of Post Oak Bend City Hall upon request.The Public Hearing will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Post Oak Bend, Texas, on the 15th day of August 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the City of Post Oak Bend City Hall, 1175 County Road 278, Kaufman, Tx. 75142, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation. At said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard. Of all said matters and things, all persons interested in the things and matters herein mentioned, will take notice.

4/21/2022 - There will be a public hearing held by the City of Post Oak Bend Planning and Zoning Commission for two variance requests by Riverside East Homebuilders, LTD at their regularly scheduled meeting beginning at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, followed by discussion and action on the same. The variance requests are to allow variance on the 50’ front building line at the properties located at W.G. Estates Lot 1, 1540 County Road 280 and W.G. Estates, Lot 2, 1572 County Road 280, in the City of Post Oak Bend, Texas. 3/18/2022 - The City has issued request for proposals (RFP) and request for qualifications (RFQ) for service providers for one or more Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) grants from the Texas Division of Emergency Management, Texas Water Development Board and/or other sources, including Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities, and/or Flood Mitigation Assistance. GRANT SERVICES REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The City of Post Oak Bend/County of Kaufman is soliciting service providers for one or more Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) grants from the Texas Division of Emergency Management, Texas Water Development Board and/or other sources, including Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities, and/or Flood Mitigation Assistance. Accordingly, the City of Post Oak Bend seeks to contract with a qualified service provider for pre-award and post-award management of HMA project(s). Please submit 3 copies of your proposal of services and a statement of qualifications to Attn: City of Post Oak Bend/CC: City Secretary, P.O. Box 746, Kaufman, TX. 75142. Proposals must be received by the City of Post Oak Bend no later than 5 p.m. on April 1, 2022 to be considered. The City of Post Oak Bend reserves the right to negotiate with any and all proposers, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals. The City of Post Oak Bend/County of Kaufman plans to apply for the upcoming Texas Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grant(s) from the Texas Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) Program of the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), Texas Water Development Board (TWDB, and/or other sources, including Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities, and/or Flood Mitigation Assistance. Accordingly, the City is seeking to contract with a qualified engineering firm to conduct an engineering study if applicable, determine scope of work and prepare all preliminary and final design plans and specifications, and to conduct all necessary interim and final inspections. These services are being solicited to assist the City of Post Oak Bend/County of Kaufman in its pre-award and post-award engineering services of its proposed HMA project(s). Please submit 3 copies of your proposal of services and a statement of qualifications for the proposed services to Attn: City of Post Oak Bend/CC: City Secretary, P.O. Box 746, Kaufman, TX. 75142.
